My LOVEly friends,
This short video is a wonderful glimpse into the mystical art of my friend, Yvonne Rosenlund. I have the great honor to be a part of this. During one of my evenings of meditation and reflection, at The Port of Dubuque, I wrote a poem, and shared it on Facebook. Yvonne asked if she could create one of her fabulous Zendalas, with my poem as the theme. I, of course, said, "YES!", and I am joyful for this collaboration.

Imagine this... A true story!
Imagine this... One day, you wake up to a bunch of smiling strangers, wearing lab coats. They are clearly glad to see you, and they look vaguely familiar. Yet, everything feels strange. This is not your bedroom. This room is filled with computers and bright lights and wires, and some of these wires are connected to you.
Imagine this... After what feels like a very long time, one of these smiling strangers says, "You ran the simulation well. Really well. That is our best run yet. Tell us, did it feel real? Did the amnesia protocols do their job? It seemed like you were completely immersed in the game. What was it like?"
Imagine this... You have no answers, at first, because as she is asking you these questions, you are trying to process two distinct sets of memories...your life, in the simulation (the one that you are experiencing, as you read this), and your life before your participation in the simulation. At first, they both feel true, and not true.
Imagine this... As you are able to more easily hold both sets of memories as true, you realize that everything you experienced, in the simulation, was a game, and one that you created. You are the designer of this whole project. This lab. These people. The simulation. They are all because of you, and your groundbreaking work.
Imagine this... You realize that everything you experienced in your simulation was very real, while it was happening, and at the same time, a construct of your mind and emotions. It was real because you believed it was, and now you realize just how beautiful all of it was...still is.
Imagine this... As you get your bearings, you realize that you still feel the love for all of your loved ones, but none of the hate for those you thought of as your enemies. In fact, you feel a fondness for them, as you might for a bad guy, in a movie. This is new. This is the first time you have felt like this, after a simulation. A breakthrough.
Imagine this... Days go by. Tests and meetings and computer diagnosis and medical examinations fill your days, and you still feel a deep love for the people and experiences of your simulation. You realize that the you, of the simulation, will always be alive within you. As will all of your experiences...the people, your choices, your feelings and thoughts, all of it.
Imagine this... About a week later, you hear a knock at your office door. You open the door, and it is one of the new senior engineers. For a brief moment, you have a funny feeling about them, and it passes. You invite them in, noticing that they will not make eye contact with you.
Imagine this... They sit down, across from you, still not making eye contact, and they ask your forgiveness, in advance of what they are about to tell you. You agree, and when they look up at you, your heart skips a beat. What an unusual feeling. If you didn't know better, you would say that you were feeling something like love.
Imagine this... As you are trying to pull yourself together, they look at you, and say, "Again, I am really sorry. I was told to do it, by the project manager. I was new, and I didn't feel like I could refuse. I was in the simulation with you. I know you feel it. Even as I am telling you this. You know that I was your love. You can feel it."
Imagine this... You are reeling, and they continue, "I remember when we first met. When we got married. I remember the births of our two children. I remember burying our oldest. I remember the day you died, and I remember the years of living without you. And I can't help myself. I still love you. Are you angry?"
Imagine this... As you sit, across from them, with tears of great joy, in your eyes, you have no words. So, you come around the desk, and they stand up...and then you are holding each other. It is strange, at first...you are different than you were...and then, all of a sudden, it is familiar and beautiful.
Imagine this... For a long time, you simply hold each other, and they say, "Do you remember what you said to me, whenever I was sad or worried? You would always say, 'Nothing is ever lost, and nothing ever dies.' I always wanted to believe it. Now, here we are, and I have you again." And with a little smile, you say, "And I have you again."
Imagine this... This is just a story. As all stories are, it is true. Is it real? It is as real as the emotions you felt, when you read it. It is as real as you believe it to be. Just a couple more questions. How would you live, if you knew that nothing ever died, and nothing was ever lost? How would you live, if you knew that your every experience is your creation, and it is perfect and beautiful?
Imagine this... When you woke up this morning, you actually entered a simulation, with implanted memories of all kinds of experiences...worries, joys, hates, loves, feelings, thoughts, etc... Your whole past, a construct, created by you. Your whole world, existing because you believe it does. How do you live, today, with this freedom?
Imagine.

It's only pretend, right?
Can you let all of your opposites...love and hate and joy and pain and sadness and happiness and light and dark and so on and so forth...be whole and perfect and true, living within you?
Can you imagine yourself letting them be, with no need to make some wrong, and some right? Can you imagine that, whether you see them all as beautiful, as blessing, they are? Can you imagine that you are the one deciding factor in the existence of each one? Can you imagine that what you call blessed, though it seem otherwise, is blessed...that even what you may have called cursed, may be blessed, if you say it is?
Imagine yourSelf as perfect LOVE...as That, in which all is perfect and true and whole. Imagining is a nobler sounding word than pretending, but pretending is no less powerful. If it is easier for you to say "pretend", remember this little mantra -- "Pretending is practicing, and practicing is remembering."
Pretending is practicing, and practicing is remembering. Say it a few times, to yourself. Then say it a few times, aloud. Feel it. Let yourself feel it. What are you practicing today? Can you let yourself practice blessing everything, regardless of how you have previously known it? Can you practice being LOVE, and allowing your world to be LOVE? Allowing all of it, then being easy with yourself, when it is hard, or when it feels like lying?
Pretending is practicing, and practicing is remembering. What you are remembering, and what no one else can remember for you, is that you are LOVE...perfect being, perfect understanding, perfect allowing. You are remembering that you are LOVE, and that everything you experience is you, is LOVE. This is what you are remembering. You are LOVE, and LOVE is all. You are LOVE, which knows all as LOVE.

Do you know what happens?
Oh, my LOVEly friends,
Do you know what happens when you relax about your spirituality and enlightenment and heaven and saving and being saved and...all of it...all the worry about getting to something or back to something or becoming something?
Do you know what happens when you relax all the letting go and digging and releasing and cleansing?
Do you know what happens when you simply let yourself be? When you let your world be? When you let God/Source/Universe be?
You begin to remember that "what is" is perfect, as it is. You begin to remember that you are perfect, as you are. You begin to remember that there is nothing to become, and nothing to stop becoming. You begin to remember that you are (already, always) everything you seek.
You are everything you seek. You can relax. There is nothing missing in you. There is nothing extra in you. You are perfect and whole and true, as you are. In truth, you are LOVE, in which all is perfect and whole and true. You are LOVE, in which all exists.
When you remember yourSelf as LOVE, you remember that your world is LOVE too. This is what happens, when you relax. You begin to remember things like this. You begin to remember that you are LOVE, and LOVE is all. You remember that you are LOVE, and LOVE knows all things as Itself. LOVE knows all as LOVE.
You are LOVE. LOVE is all. LOVE knows all as LOVE! Say it with me, "I AM LOVE, and know all as LOVE!" Remember?

Morning Meditation -- Friday, February 15, 2013
In this perfect moment, I remember that resentment, and the feeling of being taken for granted, grows out of fears of not having enough, and the fear of not having enough is really a fear of not being enough.
In this perfect moment, I am aware of the times, when I have felt these feelings. Nothing to change. Nothing to fix or make right. I simply am aware of them, and I allow them to be, exactly as they are. I allow them, and I love them as my creation. I love them as perfect experience, perfectly created, and I love myself, as their creator.
In this, is ease and well-being. In this, I begin to remember that I am everything I seek...that all lives within me...and I remember that...
I AM LOVE, and know all as LOVE!

I invite you to keep the flame alive, to renew your love for life, to remember what is joy for you! I invite you to choose, today, totake nothing personally, and to take nothing for granted. I invite you to pay attention, and be thoughtful and kind.
I invite you to be easy with yourself, and with those around you. I invite you to laugh and dance and sing and play, and be unabashedly in love with your life.
I invite you to ask yourself, "What would it feel like to, all of a sudden, remember that I am perfect LOVE, creating all of this, perfectly? What if I remembered that I am LOVE, and I knew everything as LOVE?"

Happy LOVE Day, LOVElies!
I am always my own sweet heart. I love me, with all of my particular thoughts and feelings. I love me, and even when I forget how much I love me...I remember later and then I love that forgetful me too. How about you? Can you allow YOU to be the true love of your life?
Can you allow YOU to be the true love of your life? Can you hear the worries of "but that's narcissism" or "that's selfishness", while also remembering that truly loving yourself means that you feel whole and at ease with yourself, and when you do...oh, when you really are aware of yourself as LOVE In The Human Experience...then you are anything but selfish or narcissistic? Can you feel that?
Can you feel how self-love...remembering yourself as perfect and whole...remembering yourself as LOVE In The Human Experience...means loving your whole self? Can you see how self-love would lead to loving...more and more...your every experience? Can you see how being the love of your life can lead to loving every aspect of your life...including other people and places and experiences?
Let today be a day of loving yourself. Let today be a day of remembering...or at least pretending...yourself as LOVE. Can you allow yourself to be perfect and whole...exactly as you are...for just this moment? For just a moment...can you love yourself, exactly as you are, and let that be enough? Morning Meditation -- Wednesday 13, 2013
In this perfect moment, I remember that feeling disappointed is a choice. It is neither good nor bad. Simply a choice. I create the feeling of disappointment from the fear of loss. When that, for which I was hoping, is not matching up with what I am experiencing. The more that I fight "what is", the more disappointment, I feel. This is neither good nor bad. It is simply a choice.
I can also choose to roll with the change, and what I may have, before, called "disappointment", I can choose to call "reappointment". I can choose to allow "what is" and remember that, consciously and unconsciously, I create my world. I can choose to allow "what is" to be perfect, and pay attention to the blessings, living in this moment.
Such freedom, in allowing "what is"! Such ease and well-being, when I remember that nothing is lost...that everything is alive within me. Such joy and delight, in choosing to know this moment as perfect, and myself as the perfect creator of this moment. In this, may I allow the moment to be opportunity and excitement! Woohoo! Hallelujah!

Who are your bad guys...your adversaries and enemies?
Whatever I fight, and meet with strife, I give the right to create my life.
Who are your bad guys...your adversaries and enemies? What are you fighting for? What are you fighting against?What is so wrong, that it must be righted? Who do you feel pity or sympathy for...who needs to be fixed?
Relax, my LOVElies! Ask these question, with no need for judgment or guilt, and no need to correct or fix anything. Just allow the questions, and answer them honestly. Then, remember that your whole human experience is your creation.
This is great news and a powerful reminder that you are free to create anything. You are free to create your world as broken and imperfect. This is a perfect way to create your world, by the way. You are also free to create your world as whole and perfect. Another perfect way to create your world.
Now is simply a wonderful time, for being aware...paying attention...to how you are creating your world. It only takes awareness and allowing. Pay attention, with no need for guilt or judgment, and then simply allow for your own inner wisdom...the voice of LOVE...to whisper the truth of you.
In every moment, perfect LOVE whispers, over and over, "I AM LOVE, and know YOU as LOVE. I AM LOVE, and know YOU as LOVE. I AM LOVE, and know YOU as LOVE." Listen to this voice, and rejoice. Your life is only as difficult as you believe it to be, and you are always free to believe it easy.
When I simply allow, and create with ease, I live in the NOW, and life's a breeze!

Whatever I fight, and meet with strife, I give the right to create my life.
Who are your bad guys...your adversaries and enemies? What are you fighting for? What are you fighting against?What is so wrong, that it must be righted? Who do you feel pity or sympathy for...who needs to be fixed?
Relax, my LOVElies! Ask these question, with no need for judgment or guilt, and no need to correct or fix anything. Just allow the questions, and answer them honestly. Then, remember that your whole human experience is your creation.

Afternoon Meditation -- February 13, 2013
In this perfect moment, I remember that feeling disappointed is a choice. It is neither good nor bad. Simply a choice. I create the feeling of disappointment from the fear of loss. When that, for which I was hoping, is not matching up with what I am experiencing. The more that I fight "what is", the more disappointment, I feel. This is neither good nor bad. It is simply a choice.
I can also choose to roll with the change, and what I may have, before, called "disappointment", I can choose to call "reappointment". I can choose to allow "what is" and remember that, consciously and unconsciously, I create my world. I can choose to allow "what is" to be perfect, and pay attention to the blessings, living in this moment.
Such freedom, in allowing "what is"! Such ease and well-being, when I remember that nothing is lost...that everything is alive within me. Such joy and delight, in choosing to know this moment as perfect, and myself as the perfect creator of this moment. In this, may I allow the moment to be opportunity and excitement! Woohoo! Hallelujah!

Some Inside Scoop Into The Truth Of You!
Psssttt... Do you wanna know a secret? Lean in a little bit. Good. So, here's the scoop. You? You are, even as you are reading this, perfect and whole. You are perfect and whole. Actually, you are That, in which everything is perfect and whole.
Can you let this be true, even for just a bit? Can you let yourself feel the stirring within you? The "Yes!", that is knocking about, inside of you? Can you, at least, entertain the idea, or simply pretend it to be true...for just a little bit?
Try it. Give it a whirl. Because here's the thing. It's true, but I can understand if it doesn't feel that way...at least, at first. This is where pretending comes in, and is so brilliant. Pretending is practicing, and practicing is remembering.
And this is what we are really talking about. You are already perfect and whole, and you are remembering this, little by little. Pretending is simply a wonderful way for making this remembering a more conscious experience.
You are perfect and whole, and you are That, in which everything is perfect and whole...That, in which all exists. Now is a wonderful time, for remembering this. Remember yourSelf as whole, and remember your world as yourSelf.

Here is a quick afternoon meditation, for you. Blessings!
Make a moment, and be still and silent. Simply breathe, for a moment. Allow your breaths to be deep and slow...allow...allow...nothing
Now, relax into this moment, allowing these slow, deep breaths, and ask yourself this question, "What would it feel like, to celebrate even the smallest of joys, with no need to figure them out? What would it feel like to celebrate the biggest of blessings, with no need to figure them out?"
Keep breathing and allowing. Just let those questions flow through you. Allow them to be, with no hurry to answer them. When the answers do show themselves, allow yourself to feel them, as well as think them. Allow...allow. In this, you are allowing your own wisdom, and wisdom is the voice of LOVE...the whole truth of you.
Keep breathing and allowing and listening to wisdom...let it remind you of what it feels like to celebrate for no reason. Give yourself this gift of breathing and allowing and listening and remembering. What a gift! What a blessing, to allow this moment of connecting with the truth of you. Wonderful!

In this perfect moment, I am aware of my self-doubts and disappointments...really feeling them...allowing them to be, exactly as they are...allowing me to be, exactly as I am...doing nothing to change them or fix them...simply allowing them and loving them, as my own creation...allowing and loving me, as my own creation.
In this allowing and loving, my self-doubts and disappointments become old friends and servants, who have served me as I have asked them to. They have been the protectors, I created and charged with my defense. They are not my enemies. They are not stumbling blocks on the way to a better me. They have been my loyal and dutiful servants...important in the story of me.
How wonderful, to see our enemies as our friends. How freeing, to simply be as we are...with all the bits we love and don't love, allowed and loved, exactly as they are. This is healing without healing...without fixing or correcting anything. This is healing by allowing and loving what is...remembering what is as perfect and whole. How lovely!

No regrets at then end of your life.
So, this whole business about what people regret the most, as they lie on their death bed...or even after they die? Do you want to know something? This has more to do with what the interviewer, or psychic/medium, is expecting to be true.
The truth is this. No matter what you have created for your life, you are going to be so pleasantly surprised...even if you are expecting great things, already. No matter what you have created, for your human experience...it is all LOVE. You are LOVE. Even now, you are perfect LOVE, and LOVE is all.
It is this simple. You are perfect LOVE. Exactly as you are, you are perfect LOVE. LOVE is all. Really, and truly. You are LOVE, and LOVE is all. So, you see, there is nothing to return to. Nothing to gain or lose. Nothing to be made worthy of. You already are all that you seek. You are LOVE...perfect and whole.
You already are perfect and whole. You are That, in which all is perfect and whole. In your moments of tragedy, and in your moments of triumph, you are perfect and whole. In your moments of fear, and in your moments of joy, you are perfect and whole. And you are That, in which all is perfect and whole and true.
Be easy with yourself. Be easy with others, and with the world. Allow. Practice allowing and understanding, and when you find that you have not been practicing these...practice forgiveness, of yourself and of others. Not because you should. Not because you will be judged for not doing so. You won't and you aren't. Practice because it helps you to remember the truth of you.
Be easy. Allow. Give understanding. Give forgiveness. To yourself and to others, give these gifts, and you begin to remember the truth. You begin to remember what is already true, and is always true. You begin to remember that all things are, as you are, whole. This is it. This remembering is what you call "healing". All healing is simply the remembering that we are already whole.
We are already (always) whole. So, death is not a returning, or becoming, so much as it is a remembering. It is a remembering of what is already (always) true. What an interesting way to look at death, eh? As a remembering that we are already whole. As a remembering that we do not have to make ourselves worthy of perfect LOVE.
We are perfect LOVE. We are always perfect LOVE...no matter what.

Daily Uplift -- January 15, 2012
In this perfect moment, I am simply allowing myself to be perfect and whole, as I am, and allowing this to be true of the world. When I remember that there is nothing for me to do, to make this true, I experience ease and well-being, freedom, joy, and the palpable presence of LOVE. In other words..."S'all good!"

Watch out for donkeys. They'll steal your toothpaste, when you're not looking.
After a long climb, just after dawn, a young man reached the top of a holy mountain, where, he had been told, a holy man lived. Sure enough, when he was able to catch his breath, he saw a small cave, and at the mouth of the cave, sat a very old man.
The young man approached this wizened guru, and said, "Teacher, I have traveled far, and have braved harsh conditions to meet you. Please, tell me what wisdom you have for me, as I continue my spiritual path.
At first, the teacher said nothing. Then, clearing his throat, he said, "My son, lean in closer. I have a great wisdom to share with you, and only with you. It is this...Watch out for donkeys. They'll steal your toothpaste, when you're not looking."
The young man was speechless. Was this wisdom? Was this all? Had he struggled through it all, to hear this? He asked, "Master, surely...I mean...well, is that it? What does it mean? Is that wisdom?"
The teacher simply looked at him, and said, "Let me ask you a question, my son. Does it feel like wisdom, to you?" Before he could catch himself, the young man blurted, "No! No it does not! It sound like nonsense. I feel like I've wasted my time."
At this, the old man perked up, and smiled. "Is it nonsense?" he asked, and the young man, again, found himself speaking without thinking. "Yes! It is nonsense. I could have come up with something better than that. I know it. You're a fake, and I am fool!"
The old man, still smiling, said, "Right, on the first account, and maybe right on the last. Let me ask you, since you said you could come up with something better, what is it? What is more wise than what I have shared with you?"
Again, as before, he found himself speaking, before he could think, and he heard himself say, "Anything. Anything is wiser than that. Like 'Save the struggle and your time. Don't climb mountains, looking for gurus. They've got nothing you don't have."
He looked at the guru, wrapped in amber robes, and he fumed. Still, the old man smiled at him, but said nothing. For almost a minute, there was silence, until he he thought it was going to drive him crazy.
Then the old man laughed. He laughed and laughed and laughed. He was doubled over, in laughter. At first, this made the young man angrier, and then he found he could not help himself. Soon, he was laughing too...and then he got it. He got it!
It came to him, in the middle of the laughing, and when he realized it, he looked over at the old man, who was no longer laughing...only smiling, with great delight. Now, he was smiling too. He felt such peace and such well-being.
He sat down, in that moment, and for a long time, they simply smiled at each other. Then, as the Sun climbed to the middle of the sky, the young man got up, smiled a deep smile, and without a sound, made his way back down the mountain.

You are LOVE. Can you allow this as your truth, exactly as you are?
As you begin to experience yourSelf as LOVE...as perfect being, perfect understanding, perfect allowing...you begin to experience your world as LOVE. You experience this as true, without having to change a thing. You remember that it is always true...that LOVE is all, always and already...and you simply allow.
There are many experiences, right now, that may (understandably) be demanding your ire and outrage. You may have experiences that feel like heartache and sadness. It is very probable that you have experiences, that you have labeled "wrong" or "injustice" or "stupid" or even "evil".
All of these are LOVE. They are you, and you are LOVE. LOVE knows all, perfectly, as LOVE. In LOVE, all is allowed. All exists, within LOVE, and is LOVE. LOVE is all, and knows all as LOVE. This is the essential truth of all things. It is your essential truth. When you allow this to be true, you experience the change of no change.
When you allow what is always true...LOVE is all...to be the truth of your current experience, you begin to allow LOVE to be your experience. This is change without change. It is a remembering of what is already true, and it is easy, in the moment that you allow it to be easy.
You are LOVE. Always and already. This is the whole truth of you, and it is the whole truth of everyone and everything you experience. This is true, even when your experience appears to be other. Even when your experience, or your understanding of another's experience, appears to be other than LOVE.
You are LOVE, and LOVE is all...always and without exception. LOVE is all, and knows all as LOVE. LOVE knows all as perfect and whole. LOVE knows all as complete and perfect LOVE. Your experience, exactly as it is, is LOVE. Can you allow this to be your truth?
Can you allow yourSelf to be LOVE, exactly as you are? Can you allow LOVE to be your experience? Nothing to earn or take away. No better version, of yourself or your world, to wait for or work for. Can you, right now, as you are, say, "I AM LOVE, and know All as LOVE!"? Can you say this, and feel it as true?

I am simply offering that you are LOVE, and LOVE is all. I am offering that LOVE is all, and knows all as LOVE. The wisdom, you see in others? It is the same wisdom that lives in you.
Any wisdom you see in another...in a guru, prophet, saint, or savior...is simply your wisdom, reflected to you. Now is the time...you can feel it...for you to trust your own inner wisdom, in the way that you have trusted the wisdom of others. It is the same wisdom.
It is the same wisdom. It is the same voice...the voice of perfect LOVE...and it lives within you, as surely as it lives in those you call "wise" or "enlightened" or "holy". Now is a perfect time, for you to trust your own inner wisdom...for you to trust the ever present voice of LOVE, within you.Now is your time. It is always your time. You are the answer. You are always the answer, and the answer is always LOVE. You are LOVE. It is the whole of you...the whole truth of you. You are the wisdom, that lives within you, and this wisdom is simply the voice of LOVE. You are LOVE...perfect being, perfect understanding, perfect allowing. This is all there is. You are LOVE. Remember. Allow yourself to remember this. Allow. Remember. Remember yourSelf as LOVE. Let this be your wisdom...your enlightenment. In this perfect moment, decide that you are LOVE. Decide that you are LOVE. Let this be your remembering. All wisdom, all healing is simply the remembering of this truth. This is all. It is this simple. Decide, right now, that you are LOVE. Remember that you are LOVE, and you remember that your world is LOVE. You remember that this is always true. Any wisdom you see in another...in a guru, prophet, saint, or savior...is simply your wisdom, reflected to you.
