Oh Light Of The World, imagine a beautiful mountain lake, with water that is pure and clean...perfect. Now, imagine that lake, of the most perfect water, asking...begging...for just one glass of water. Imagine that. Imagine a lake of perfect water, begging for a glass of water.
Seems far-fetched? Oh Light Of The World, you are like this mountain lake. There is nothing missing from you, nothing extra. You are perfect. And yet, you strive for perfection...like the perfect mountain lake, asking for a glass of water.
Here you are, the source of all things. More than that, you are all things. More than that, you are That, in which all things are true, and you are asking...sometimes begging...for just a little more of all That.
Right now, is a wonderful time, for you to imagine...to know...yourself as needing nothing. Imagine that you are That, from which all things flow, and in which all things exist. Imagine, not that you are abundant, but that you ARE abundance. It takes no more effort, no more imagination...no more creative energy...to assume that you are abundance (rather than lack).
It may take a little practice, Oh LOVE In The Human Experience.
It may take a little practice...this imagining...this knowing...yourself as All That Is. It may take a little practice, remembering yourself as That, in which all things are true. It may take a little practice, remembering that you are LOVE In The Human Experience. Then again, everything, in your human experience, takes practice. How do you think you got so good at imagining that you need things?
Oh Light Of The World, right now is a perfect time, to begin practicing this imagining, this remembering, that you are whole and perfect, as you are. It is a perfect time, for imagining that you are the source of all abundance, and that you can create your human experience, in any way you choose.
If it feels like make-believe, like a game. Perfect. Let it be a game, but play the game everyday. There is no wrong way, or right way, to play the game, and you get to decide, just how long you are going to play the game. Here are some ideas, to get you started:
1. On your next trip, to the mall or the grocery store, smile at everyone, and I mean really smile at them. Smile, like you know them (whether you do or not). It doesn't have to be anything but a quick smile. Simply look them, in the eye, and smile warmly, lovingly, at them. Let your smile say, "How wonderful it is, to connect with you, even briefly."
2. Bless your world. Seriously, start with five minutes, and simply bless everything you experience. Bless your feelings ("good" and "bad"). Bless your surroundings. Bless the people. Bless everything you experience. If you really want to play, bless your world, out loud. It can be as simple, as saying, "Blessings!", and then pausing to feel that experience as blessed.
3. One last one, and you may know what this one is, before I say it. I have been using, and sharing, a particular mantra, for some time. It is a powerful reminder, and it is suitable, for all experiences...the ones we like, and the ones we do not like. It is simple, and you can learn it quickly. It is, "I AM LOVE, and know all things as LOVE!", and it is one of the most powerful tools, I have created for my own remembering. Use it and decide if it resonates with you.
These are just a few ideas, for remembering yourself as LOVE...LOVE In The Human Experience. It takes no more energy, to know yourself as abundance...as That, in which all things are true...as the source of all things, than it does to imagine yourself as needing anything.
As always, be easy with yourself. You have, probably, been imagining yourself "without", in some fashion, for some time. If it takes a little practice, to imagine yourself, as All That, so be it. Have fun, with it. there is nothing to get right, and nothing to get wrong. You are already perfect and whole. Imagining is simply remembering that you are perfect and whole.
One last thing. Remember that mountain lake? The lake of pure, clean...perfect...water? When the lake was begging for just one glass of water, was the lake any less pure? Any less clean? Any less perfect? Would you hesitate to drink from that mountain lake, just because it couldn't see how wonderful it is? It's still perfect. You are, just as the lake is, perfect and whole, right now...whether you remember it, or not.
Blessings, Oh Light Of The World! Hail, Oh LOVE In The Human Experience! I AM LOVE, and know you as LOVE!
